Ok, the first major issue I'm having is it's way too easy to click off of the screen.
Something should be done about that, capturing the mouse input somehow

Otherwise, the art style and controls are good. Smooth animation too.

Definitely better than I expected after the first couple of screens.

I like the art style, and overall the game looks cool. BUT... I feel like the audio could be more fitting, maybe giving it more classic atari or 8 bit sounds would help to authenticate the style you're going for.

Gameplay; The shooting segments were fun! The only parts that had me a little bored were the melee fighting segments, maybe more timing based swings would make it more difficult. Just clicking on the enemies can feel very overpowered and too fast.

I like where you're going, hope to see more!

I am not sure if 8 bit sounds would bring that drama in the game like orchestral music does, but I will consider it for the next time. Thank you for your review!
